What is ETH Wuhan?

ETH Wuhan is an event that brings Ethereum builders together in Wuhan.

Who is encouraged to attend?

ETH Wuhan welcomes developers, designers, researchers, and builders who want to build a project during the event.

Does ETH Wuhan charge any fees?

No. Participation is free for accepted hackers.

Will ETH Wuhan offer travel scholarships?

We will provide food, accommodation, and travel compensation to students if the budget permits.

Can I participate remotely?

No. ETH Wuhan is an in-person event in Wuhan, and participants need to attend on site.

How many members are allowed on my team?

You can participate solo or with a team. We recommend teams of two to five builders.

Can I start working on my project before the event?

No. For fairness, participants should not work on their project before the hackathon begins. You may familiarize yourself with the tools beforehand.

What can I build during the event?

Build anything that fits the tracks: agentic payments, identity and reputation, smart accounts, or verifiable AI. Your project should use blockchain in a meaningful way.
